What I can contribute to the work of FISP?:

I dare believe that :

a) my more than 40 years work at the Institute of Philosophy, AS, would permit me truly to represent the Russian philosophical community in FISP;

b) my academic skills and knowledge as well as a rich experience in organizing international meetings (such as the most recent: Director of the 7th and co - Director of the 8th East-West Philosophers’ Conference. Honolulu, Hawaii, 1995, 2000; Director of The First Moscow International Conference on Comparative Philosophy, Moscow, 2002; co - Director of the International Conference on Sufism, Turin, Italy, 2002) might be useful in promoting a dialogue of cultures in the field of philosophy.
